The Immune Response Corporation canceling its HIV clinical trials.

Bad, bad news for the therapeutic HIV pipeline: The Immune Response Corporation, which had been developing Remune as a therapy for HIV/AIDS, has announced it has canceled its HIV clinical trials.
The company also announced it will rebrand itself to Orchestra Therapeutics in light of the changes.

Yesterday, Sangamo Biosciences announced, “human immune system cells can be made permanently resistant to HIV infection by treatment with zinc finger DNA-binding protein nucleases” (Sangamo.com)
If this pans out in clinical trials, this will be amazing!
